Calibration for Tensile Testing Equipment

Regular calibration is an essential safeguard for the accuracy of tensile testing machines, which are vital for characterizing the mechanical behavior of materials. As an A2LA-accredited laboratory in the field of calibration, Instru-Met performs:

• Force verification of testing machines (compression and tension) to ASTM E4 and ISO 7500-1
• Extensometer, displacement, and strain measuring devices (gage length and crosshead displacement) to ASTM E83, ISO 9513, and ASTM E2309
• Testing machine crosshead speed to ASTM E2658
