Instru-Met offers grips in a variety of types and sizes for testing all kinds of materials. Our self-tightening capstan grips are rated to 2.5 kN (500 lbf) for twisted cords, braided lines, yarns, and elastic tapes, with a grooved spiral that distributes stress evenly and minimizes slippage. Pneumatic side-action grips with pinch guards are available for production environments.
