Cord Capstan Tensile Grip

Rated to 2.5 kN (500 lbf), Instru-Met’s capstan grips are engineered for high-accuracy tensile testing of twisted cords, braided lines, elastic tapes, and other flexible specimens. A self-tightening spiral groove applies even stress distribution, minimizes slippage, and eliminates jaw breaks.

• Self-tightening capstan design that locks tighter as force increases
